Presenting the Information Map service

The new service of the public site of Urban Mobility Centre provides information on the traffic on the territory of Sofia via an interactive map.

It provides detailed information on the level of traffic on more than 30 crossroads and streets and the expected delay if passing through any of them.

The map provides information on current repairs, public functions and other events that may affect the road traffic.

On the interactive map of Sofia the road traffic is represented by colour markings on the streets. On the right side of the map the crossroads in the city are listed in the order of their level of traffic. If you select one of them, the map will center on it and detailed information on the current status of the traffic will come up.
The system automatically calculates the approximate time it would take to pass through.

The traffic information is updated automatically.

The locations of repairs, car accidents, public functions and other events that are affecting the road traffic are displayed on the interactive map using icons.

With a click comes up detailed information on the selected event. The information includes:

• Duration of the event
• Region it covers
• Option for picture
• Additional description
• Other specific details about the event

A key has been added to explain the meaning of each icon.

You can find the event directly on the interactive map or in the list presented under it.
